James made a suspension bridge. It was a kit, but it didn't have instructions.
We played with numbers. |
| We took all four boys to the dentist. Three out of the four had no cavities. James should be getting his braces off the end of next month! |
| We reviewed the differences between countries and continents through looking at Denmark on several different maps. |
| We also learned about the early settlements in the New World -at St. Augustine, Florida, at Roanoke, North Carolina and at Jamestown, Virginia. We made 3-D projects of the tree marked with CROATOAN at Roanoke and the Jamestown fort. The little boys played settlers and Indians all afternoon, including the struggles to get along. We read books about them before bed. |
