Snapshot Summary October 4-9, 2010 {Week 5}

Snap Shot Summary October 4-9

Monday...We played a game to illustrate the exponential growth of the Plague in the Middle Ages.
Tuesday...We worked on reading, handwriting and literature today. That evening I took Katie out to dinner for her birthday while Steven and the boys shopped for groceries.
We all went to McDonalds while the little boys played in the tunnels there and ate their dinner.

Wednesday...We worked on our lessons in chemistry by separating a mixture of salt, sand, iron filings and wax shavings. They did a very good job figuring it out even though once the sand and iron filing were wet, they stuck together, and the magnet picked them both up.
Thursday... In the morning we had a picture study of another Limbourg brothers print from a Book of Days.

In the afternoon, Steven took the boys to the park to eat lunch and play with friends. They were not back until dinner time.

Friday...We had fun with math today, first by looking at geometric terms on the trampoline and then ratios, Pi and measuring angles. It's all child's play!

Saturday...Steven took the little boys to Lowe's Build & Grow program and they made little Fun Houses.
