Snapshot Summary September 27-October 2
This was a crazy, mixed-up week for us. First of all,my computer's memory topped out before my external disk drive made it here, so I was without much capability to post photos as our family computer is so old that it takes forever to do anything on it. I was not my best all week, health-wise. Then two days this week we were out of the house, so our schedule was mixed around. We ended up having lots of science and no math or art. Katie's birthday topped off the unusual week.
Monday: Steven and I took Alex and Sam to the dentist. Alex did surprisingly well and Sam does not need to get his teeth straightened. (Yeah!) Katie made cupcakes for herself and Alex. We worked on reading, spelling and literature today. Pad Thai for dinner.
Tuesday: We experimented with acids and bases and pH with red cabbage indicator including titrations. Lots of tree climbing and outside play for the little boys.
| A Serendipitous Find on Michaelmas |
Wednesday: The boys found a little volunteer pumpkin in the little turtle box garden on Michaelmas. Today the boys worked in their history notebooks and we read about the Crusades.
Thursday: Today was Katie's 19th birthday. We only had a cake and sang to her. Her presents are all to come later on. We played with chromotography today. It rained hard all day as a tropical depression went through.

Friday: Roller skating for all but Alex and I today. It was Quentin's first time to go. Katie won the prize on one of the games. We finished up our chromotography experiments.
